Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I check in?
Check-in for homes is at the Lookout Cottage Rentals office located downstairs in the main building at the south end of Lookout Park and the Pickle Ball court. Check-in time begins at 4 p.m.
(During busy seasons, the property may not be available until 6:00 p.m.)

When is departure time?
The check-out time is 11 a.m. sharp. A late check-out fee equal to one-half of the nightly rental rate will apply on late departures. Please call the morning of your departure to ask if a complimentary one hour late checkout is available.

Note: this can only be extended on homes that do not have an arrival that same day.

Is there a cleaning fee for homes?
Yes, a onetime cleaning fee is charged for each guest stay. The amount of this fee is based on the bedrooms, baths and overall size of the accommodation you select. Extra cleaning fees will be charged if it is necessary to perform cleaning beyond the normal amount for the home.

Do I need to bring linens?
No, all of our vacation rentals have professionally laundered, high quality sheets and towels. Pool towels are provided in each home.

Do you provide paper products, soaps and other household supplies?
Yes - our vacation rentals are furnished with a supply of paper and soap products to begin your stay with us. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, face tissue, bath soap, dishwashing soap, and a starter amount of laundry soap. We encourage you to bring additional products with you for longer term stays. For health and safety reasons, we do not provide any spices or condiments.

Washers & Dryers?
Most of the homes have a washer and dryer available. A starter amount of laundry soap is provided.

Is housekeeping available?
Each home is thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. Cleaning services during your stay are available for an additional fee.

Can I bring my pet?
Yes, some of our homes allow pets. Pet friendly accommodations are indicated on our website. A non-refundable per pet fee of $50 or $75 will be added to the cost of your stay when bringing a pet. Please note that you must advise us that you will be bringing your pet prior to your arrival. Fees will be charged for any unreported pets and your reservation may be terminated depending on the circumstances.

Is there room to park my RV?
Your vacation rental home is not able to accommodate RV, trailer or camper parking. Please let the front desk know if that will be your only mode of transportation and we will direct you to an area to park your RV, trailer or camper away from your home. You may not occupy them while they are parked on-site.

Are towels available at the pools?
The community pool does not offer towels. Guests need to bring the pool towels provided in the home or their own towels for use at the pool. We ask that you do not take the bath towels provided in your cottage to the pool. You must bring your pool card to gain access to the pool.

Are bikes provided?
Some owners leave bikes at the home and there may be some photos/images of bikes shown on our website. However, please remember that we cannot guarantee the availability, quality, condition or safety of these bikes. Guests are encouraged to either bring their own bikes, or rent bikes from Cycle Central located at the entrance of the Lookout.

Where is your town located?
We are located approximately 1.5 miles from downtown Chelan, 5 miles from downtown Manson and 34 miles north of Wenatchee in Central Washington. Please refer to our Driving Directions section for more details on finding your way to Chelan Lookout Vacation Rentals.

What if I am arriving late?
We understand if you need to arrive later in the day. We do, however, politely ask you to call us and let us know if this is the case. You can reach us at 1-509-888-7677.
