A little family time on the lake

This house is very beautiful well maintained very spacious. The views were the best, most of our time in house was spent outside on the upstairs patio. I enjoyed the sunrise every morning around 530-6am, so peaceful and zin. Love the open floor plan for the kitchen to dinning room. Mostly of all the windows upstairs opened all the way which was an amazing feature. Comes with all the things you need in a house, in case you forgot something. My kids loved the 4 buck beds, although they only slept on one each they loved the idea. Only thing we would have changed was the hot tub stopped working a couple of times. The maintenance did come and fix it but was crazy we had to call them and wait as owner of house had a different person for their hot tub. The toaster also did not work. All and all I was an amazing trip, the house was well worth the money.

We have stayed at different houses at the Lookout. This time we had a disappointing experience. We did not have dish soap, paper towels and not enough shampoo and conditioner. When we requested for these, it took over 24 hrs. In addition, the fire alarm went off in the early morning.

The home was nice, but there was no way to block the sun in the bedrooms, and it was quite bright very early in the am. They advertised you could see the fireworks from the deck, but they did not stipulate that you could only see the Lake Chelan fireworks (that occurs 2 days after the 4th of July). So, that was disappointing.

We stayed the week before Labor Day for our son's 44th birthday. Played some golf and visited a few wineries. The texts from the Lookout were very helpful in keeping us up to date on happenings in the community.

Our extended family of 6 -parents, 28 yr old son, 31 year old daughter, son in law, and 5 month old granddaughter all enjoyed a very relaxing time in this beautiful and surrounding community. Only drawbacks were construction noise and a hot tub that has apparently had some ongoing issues.

The rate was very reasonable but I’m guessing that is a concession to the ongoing construction immediately around the site. Thankfully the nailing guns and earthmovers got a rest on the weekend. We already asked about rebooking for next year’s Jazz festival. (No dates set yet.)

When we arrived to the destination, we were awed by the spectacular view of the lake and mountains from the property. You can enjoy the beauty from the living room/kitchen and bedrooms. The home was ready for us when we arrived. The home includes everything you need for everyday use. It was very clean, shiny and very cozy. Customer service was awesome. They called to check in if everything was going well. I would recommend this place to everyone who would like a lovely and relaxing took us about 5 minutes to get to the waterfront with a little help of the shuttle provided by the community. There are also activities like games and movie nights and much more provided by the community. The Waterpark is also a great destination and only 10 minutes away from the community. The people in the area were very welcoming and made you feel right at home. The pools were also very clean including the bathrooms and showers. There are a lot of places where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a good variety of different types of food just 3 minutes (driving) to town. It was a great pleasure to stay at the home and enjoy the beauty from a couch or from the outside and forget all the craziness of this world.

This was the first time my family and I rented a home in Chelan, WA and this home was everything, clean, beautiful, the view from the home looking over the lake in the am/pm was beautiful. I enjoyed spending my evenings on the deck and my mornings. There was more than enough room for all 5 of us. The on thing that was a problem is downstairs would not stay warm. If you rent the home in the winter time and you have to closes all bedroom doors downstairs for the room to stay warm or you'll be extremely cold, I do love sleeping in cold room at not, but not that cold.

What better place to check out the action on the lake or watch the 4th of July or Winterfest fireworks? The top-level deck includes a stylish dining table for six and a pair of love seats for lounging and enjoying the view. The large dining table in the great room seats 8 for dinner or games. The great room includes a fireplace, 55” ULED TV, Sonos sound system, and comfortable couch and chairs. The kitchen features a large island for friends to gather, glass cabinets showcasing the dishes, and is perfectly equipped to prepare special meals. Special chandeliers complete the great room and enhance it as a special gathering place for your friends and family.

The main floor master bedroom features a king bed with gorgeous bedding and lighting, a ceiling fan, a large closet, a seating area, and an adjoining primary bathroom. Double French doors lead to the upper-level deck and more opportunities to enjoy the view. Room darkening shades in all rooms allow you to sleep well even in the bright morning of Chelan sunrise.

The main floor includes a guest bathroom and laundry room with a fully stacked washer and dryer.

At the landing down the stairs, a welcoming bench with storage and hooks is an extra place for hanging out and organizing towels or coats. The bunk room is great for kids, with four bunks, a TV, a walk-in closet, and more lake views.

The bright lower-level bedroom features double French doors to access the lower deck and lake views. This room also has a TV, ceiling fan, and closet with custom shelving to maximize storage space. A bathroom with two sinks and a spacious storage area complete the lower level.

An extended west-facing patio at the front of the house is a great place to stay cool on a warm morning or soak up the sun in the afternoon. Lined with spring and summer blooming flowers and evergreen trees, it includes a patio table with comfy rocking chair seating for 4, Adirondack seating, and a Weber grill. This patio is another spectacular space for enjoying all that Dock of the Bay has to offer.
