Welcome to On the Rocks!

This vacation home was built in 2022 by a military family and a family of teachers from Anacortes, WA. We hope our fully stocked home has everything needed to make your vacation stay the best. Just bring your groceries and beverages of choice and get ready to relax and take in the views of beautiful Lake Chelan. Our favorites:

1) Covered deck with built-in fireplace, overhead heater with comfortable seating for 6.
2) Uncovered deck with a Polywood table and chairs to enjoy meals.
3) Covered front porch with four rocking Adirondacks to enjoy our morning coffee.
4) All indoor and outdoor games are fully stocked at the house.
5) A ground-floor patio with seating for four to sit by the gas fire at night.

This home is located very close to the larger pool and hot tub. You can throw the games in the wagon and play at the park or yard. We are just minutes from Swing Park, Bocce Ball Park, Pickleball, and the main kid's playground. There’s a shuttle just around the corner to take you to the beach.

The home has complimentary high-speed WIFI internet. All TVs are ROKU smart TVs, allowing you to access your various entertainment apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Disney +, etc). The Living room TV is connected to a traditional cable and is a smart TV.
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. A gas burner stove, oven, and full-sized refrigerator with water and ice maker. The main floor is open to the kitchen, dining, and living room. If you need a place to work while on vacation, you can find a small pocket office with a printer.

Coffee lovers have a choice of Keurig or traditional 12-cup carafe brewer. You will also find an air fryer, blender, 4-slice toaster, and room for food in the kitchen. Plenty of wine, beer, margarita glasses, and coffee mugs.

The dining area has a large square table for eight, and the island seats four. The family room has a large sectional sleeper chair to sit by the built-in fireplace.

We have a portable high chair/floor seat, a travel pack-n-play (please bring your sheets), a small umbrella stroller & baby gates for stairs for guests to use.

Our families are avid readers. Books are available for you and the kids to enjoy while relaxing lakeside or poolside in the sun or cozy up with a book on our front porch!

The upper level of the house offers all bedrooms, two full baths, and a large capacity washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a king bed and shares a bathroom with bedroom 3, which has a queen bed. The bunk room has a full bed over a queen bed. The upper bunk is designed for two small kids or one teen. Each bedroom has a smart TV.

Our garage is used as a place to park your car or for your teen/kids to be entertained. It includes a foosball table, Ping-Pong table, dart board, small beverage fridge, TV, and a small table/sitting area for kids/teens to hang out. It has a heater to keep you warm in cooler months. Coolers, a wagon, and two Tommy Bahama beach chairs can be found in the garage for lake and swimming use.

There is also an EV Charger located in the garage.

The Lookout community is growing, and construction activity may occur during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact The Lookout with any questions or concerns.
