Charming Home. Poor Management.
Reviewed on 2024-07-15 by , Redmond, WA United States’s important to know that there is a garage/guest house on the premises that renters do not have access to. It’s totally fine if there’s no access but you should know that there is another house two steps from your back door. You should also know, and it should be disclosed there are ring cameras on both the front and back door in particular the guest house has a ring cam not pointing to its front door and where visitors may be going, but directly to the back door going in and out of the rental, it’s quite intrusive. Again, totally within someone’s right, but renters should know that someone is staring them the entire time the back doors particularly problem. That’s where the back patio and the grill every time you want to go out your back door someone will see you come and go. Would have been an issue has been pointing towards the front door of the guest house, but it was not 2, it’s important to know that while there is a king bed in the master bedroom it’s actually two twins pushed together. Very European. Unfortunately, they made up these two twin s separately without anything holding them together. So effectively a couple is sleeping separately. This is fine again people do this all the time you should just be aware it was not what we are expecting. I would recommendI One large king better sleeping, comfort, kind of awkward when you’re fighting sheets.
These last two things are just FYI: . Please let guest know where the trash cans are. And the grill burns extremely high we burnt our food, three nights in a row, and we were being careful.

Summer break at Chelan

My other sister and her family and my mother stayed at the house next door and we all couldn't do talking about how great the houses and the while Lookout area was. The house had everything we needed, was super clean when we arrived and we were able to walk around to all the activities with ease. The have a trolley that goes around but it was just easier and quicker for us all to walk. The layout of the entire community was done very well- not just a typical gated community setup. Walking to and from all the areas were so pleasant and little parks and areas to explore at every corner! We definitely would come back again!
Fantastic Stay

This home is exactly as described, wonderful condition, very comfortable, well appointed. It is on one of the quieter streets in the subdivision which was welcome when pools and play areas filled up on the long weekend. Lookout community is great - lots to do, super well maintained, very polite and helpful staff. Would definitely book this home again.
Chelan Lookout Vacation

So we love coming to this area and this community. However, I had a very unpleasant experience with booking this year's rental through the Chelan Lookout website. I was charged an unauthorized $499 by VRBO which is a service I didn't use. I tried to get both Chelan Lookout and VRBO to reverse this charge but they just pointed fingers at each other. My advice: Do NOT use the Chelan Lookout web booking tool as there is a bait and switch feature to the tool. Call the office and book directly instead. And if you have issues, feel free to send emails to the Chelan Lookout but the staff does not read them. :(

We had an incredibly comfortable, fun, and relaxing stay. We enjoyed walks on the property, by the lake, and even swam in the heated pool despite the cold fall temperatures. This was just the relaxing respite we needed for our family. We will definitely be back!
