The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking meals easy, and we really appreciated having everything we needed right at our fingertips.<br/><br/>The ping pong table was such a fun bonus. Plus, having central air in the garage was a nice touch and made the whole space much more usable and enjoyable.<br/><br/>Overall, the house was clean and welcoming, though the carpets in the shared areas and the garage could use some attention. That said, the location absolutely made the trip. The kids had a great time in the nearby green space, and the pool was just a short walk away. We also loved the convenient shuttle pickup to the cove right next to the pool.<br/><br/>All in all, a great experience. We’d happily stay again.

This was by far the best stocked kitchen of any rental ever! Outdoor dining was amazing and the heaters came in handy.
Our only complaint was that the baby monitors, high chair, and pack and play were all missing. I’d also recommend bringing your own suction blackout curtains.
This is maybe the 8th time we’ve stayed at the lookout and we enjoyed this house a lot! Further, it had literally everything we needed from gear for young kids to the kitchen. The bedrooms were very comfortable and uncluttered and the garage gym and game room was great. We really enjoyed using the peloton tread and bike. Overall, the house felt like our own home and we were super pleased with everything. The Lookout was a great place with lots to do and great for kids. Very safe, secure, well maintained and the ability to walk to town was an added plus. Only downside is that the houses are extremely close together which makes for a great community but feels crowded when looking out your windows right into the neighbors place (and especially considering how much open space there is in the area). When we return, we will definitely come back to the Lookout and we’d very likely choose the same house again!

The kids loved meeting new friends in the big front grass area. Added bonus for parents is the Peloton set-up in the basement. Will be back!

Welcome to Surf or Ski at Lake Chelan Lookout! Surf or Ski is perfect for couples, families, friends, active enthusiasts, wine lovers, kids, and kids at heart. Located on Vineyard Park close to both swimming pools, Surf or Ski features a wraparound porch with a fold-up window for outdoor bar seating overlooking the Vineyard Park and Vineyard pool, a secluded patio with outdoor dining and lounging. The home features a private hot tub and outdoor shower, dual hotel-grade gas heaters throughout the entire deck, a Weber grill, Adirondack chairs and a private indoor-outdoor gas fireplace for keeping warm - making it the perfect place to entertain and enjoy throughout the year.
Inside you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen with a Vitamix, Keurig/coffee pot, and a large pantry stocked with serving pieces, baking essentials, roasting pans, and everything you could need to host a large group.
The modern dining room features a round dining table that seats eight and there is seating for three more at the bar. The living room features an indoor/outdoor gas fireplace and a 60” smart TV. Plenty of room to relax on the L-shaped couch and swivel chair, which all boast views of Vineyard Park.
The 1st-floor master bedroom has a 5-piece en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs features one king bedroom with built-in closets. The third bedroom features a twin trundle bed with a pullout twin (sleeps 2) and an office with amenities to bring work with you if needed. The office has a sit or standing Vari desk with a dual monitor setup, keyboard, and mouse.
The fourth bedroom is a bunkroom with two sets of twin-over-queen bunks. Also included is a full-size crib with a hypoallergenic mattress and pack ‘n-play for the little ones. The home has Casper mattresses (hypoallergenic) on all beds and hypoallergenic pillows. Bedrooms and common areas have USB charging outlets.
There are smart TVs in the living room and each of the 4 bedrooms. Each TV has plenty of streaming services: YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney+, HBO, and Amazon Prime Video. The Sonos indoor and outdoor sound system with a soundbar lets you stream your favorite music from any device.
Don’t miss a workout while on vacation! The garage features a full workout area with the Peloton Tread and Peloton Bike, a yoga area with a yoga mat, weights, and a ping pong table. The garage temperature is controlled with AC/heat and equipped with the Sonos sound system. Upon entering the home from the garage, the LG WashTower Electric Stacked Laundry Center is available during your stay.
Surf or Ski has enough parking for two cars on the paved driveway (additional cars can park in overflow parking areas).
Traveling with kiddos can mean packing quite a bit and we have the amenities to alleviate bringing it with you! For sleeping, we have a full-size crib and Pack ’N Play. There are two types of baby monitors: the Infant Optics DXR-8 monitor (2 monitors with 1 screen) and the Blink Mini compact Wi-Fi monitors (2 monitors, app installation required). Mealtime is handled with the Stokke Click Highchair, Bumbo Multi-Seat 3-in-1 (with tray), and OXO Tot Nest Booster Seat. And if you’re headed out on a run or walk, the BOB Jogging Stroller is available (single).
