Lakeside Chelanigans

This new 2-story, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is within walking distance of Lake Chelan, a 70-slip marina (boat & jet ski rentals available seasonally), and beach cove with protected swimming area and swim dock. There is waterfront service available to and from the lake if all your shenanigans have made you too tired to get to and from. Lookout Park, which features a community pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, grill, a children's playground, large open play field, and a pickle ball court, is less than a one minute walk from our back deck.

This is a reverse living home, where the main living space, including one of two master bedrooms, is upstairs, while the extra bedrooms are on the ground level. This allows for great views and nice breezes on the level that most of your time is spent.

The upper-level open floor plan features a great room with a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful quartz counter tops, large island with extra seating for four, a large 8-12 seat dining table, a 2-piece powder room and large living room. The living room boasts an oversize sectional, an ottoman with memory foam pull out twin bed, and a 50" Smart TV, wireless sound bar and Blu-Ray/DVD player.  The great room has two decks to choose from. A small deck off the dining room, perfect for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine to wind down in the evening. The larger deck off the living room is partially covered for when you need a break from the 300 days of sunshine. The large deck features a dining table that seats 8, large sectional sofa seating for relaxing, a Weber grill and a Fire table. The upper floor master bedroom includes a king bed, a 32" Roku Smart LED TV, and extra storage for personal items. The master bath has a large walk-in shower, large soaker tub, large walk-in closet, and a double vanity.

The bottom floor has a second master bedroom, complete with a king bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a 32"Roku Smart TV. The bunk room has 2 sturdy bunks, twin over twin and twin over full. The bunk room includes a love seat for comfortable seating while playing the Xbox ONE or watching movies on a 43" Smart HDTV, and a memory foam full-size pull out for larger groups.

The two car garage can be used for parking, or for playing ping pong with your family and friends. Pull up one of the additional chairs, fill the cooler with ice and your favorite beverages, and enjoy a little friendly competition!

For our younger guests, we have a number of amenities to make your stay more comfortable and your travel less cramped. Additional sleeping comforts include an infant/toddler Pack-N-Play and a lightweight fold out toddler cot. To make mobility a little easier around the neighborhood and around town we have a BOB single jogger stroller, a wagon, and a tricycle for your use. For safety and convenience, we have child step stools, a toddler booster seat with adjustable tray. We also have various toys and books to stay entertained during non-beach times.

Additional amenities include; beach towels, various beach toys, cruiser bikes, two sets of snowshoes and poles, and complimentary 25 Mbps high speed wireless. We hope these amenities add to the enjoyment of your time in Chelan.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals at with any questions or concerns.

The trip was great. Loved the pool area. Would have loved a little store in that area. The Lookout was impressive. Was great to have transportation to the lake. Our house needed a few things. Cutting boards were gross. Area rugs in kitchen were easy to trip on. Could use a little decorating update. Beds comfortable. All in all, would rent again.

We loved this home, especially the patio area! We visited in early October and had a lovely time exploring the Chelan area. Playground and pool were in walking distance for us and we had a relaxing hot tub soak too! Kitchen is well stocked as was the kids bedroom with books and toys.

Our group of two families (four adults and five kids) had a fantastic spring getaway at this property. The house was in great condition, very clean, and had lots of thoughtful touches throughout for convenience. The hot tub was checked by a maintenance person every day and was very clean. The home layout works well for two families to stay together, with two master suites and a bunk room.

In the community, the house is right near a playground, open lawn, and pool (the seasonal one). We visited the heated community pool and hot tub, which were great amenities.

We hope to visit another time soon!

This is a wonderful family friendly house. It was the perfect stay for our family of four and grandparents. The layout was ideal and there was plenty of room to spread out inside and out. The games in the garage were a big hit with everyone in our party.

Very family friendly accommodations. Did not feel stressed about my kids being in and enjoying this home. Lots of kid friendly perks including plastic dishes (only complaint was they might need to be replaced soon pretty heavily scratched). Location of the hot tub near the deck was perfect as you could be in the hot tub and keep your eye on kids playing on deck. Many thoughtful toys and items included to make this relaxing for the grown ups and fun for the kids. Good layout too for multiple families or generations.

This property had it all! The games and toys in the garage were a hit with the whole family. There was plenty of seating in every area of the house. I loved all the hooks around the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location with a beautiful view and quick walk up to one of the pools and grass/park area. Only downside was the air conditioning was not working when we first arrived and it was almost 100 degrees outside. We had to call the management property twice to come over to fix it but after the second call, they responded quickly and were able to fix it.

Our family of 5 stayed in this home for a 4 day weekend and my sister and her family of four were just down the street. This house has a great deck for entertaining! The kids rode the bikes in the house back and forth and we sat on the deck late into the night grilling, playing games, and sitting in the sun. The kids had a great time playing ping pong, riding bikes, swimming in the pool, and hanging out at the lake. The walk to town was easy and we did it every morning. The only feedback I would give is on the kitchen. The small kitchen tool list could be better. I had to borrow from my sister.

I have stayed up at the Lookout many times over the years.This house was perfect for our family and size.The outdoor patio was wonderful. All the hooks throughout the house were amazing – every house needs hooks for vacation rentals, it’s so helpful – it was MUCH appreciated.

Meanwhile, there were a few setbacks.
•Living Room TV didn’t work: The main TV in the living room has a broken adapter (cable from wall into the tv) – we were unable to watch football, which was a big deal for the men of our house during NFL playoffs.
•Blood on duvet: In the bottom floor guestroom, KING size duvet – it had blood on the duvet. It appeared to have been there for some time.
•Construction – so much construction – noisy, frustrating and dangerous to be rolling around in the beaming sun with big diggers and loaders flying by. A few big trucks almost hit my little guy a few times – not ideal.

We had a nice time off of property, but paying almost $400/ night – made it frustrating to meander around all the construction and hear it constantly. I have never experienced that much in one weekend. It is clear that there are more houses then there are amenities. They are growing big and fast - where is everyone to go? Like I said, it was enjoyable but a little ridiculous with the construction.

This home is really nice and comfortable! Very clean! We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and partial lake views. The lower pool was really fun to swim in when it is 37 degrees outside (warm water) and we enjoyed the hot tub at the house to warm up after a run or snow shoeing nearby at Echo. The hot tub is on the side of the property right next to one of the construction projects so we didn't use it during the day because there were a lot of construction crews around and it felt like we were in the way (maybe a fence would help a bit in the interim). The construction wasn't too bad but definitely noticeable.
We would stay here again we had a great time. :)

We had a great stay at Lakeside Chelanigans. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, pickle ball courts, and walks around the community. There was construction on the house behind the property and across the street that started at about 7:30am, but hopefully they'll be finishing up soon!

Another memory created in an lovely lake chelan lookout home. Lake shelanagens house has all the amenities needed for a comfortable secure stay. It has a beautiful up lake view, including Stormy mountain that is majestic. May is a relatively quiet time for the Chelan area, but the mountain tops remain white, while the valley is green and blooming. The house creates a setting for sharing time and conversations during the day, and the quiet bedrooms with memory foam mattresses allow a peaceful rest. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained.

We stayed here with our family and my brothers family. It worked great for both of our families. The location is perfect for going to the pool or other amenities. The kitchen was REALLY well stocked. The deck is a great feature.

Our family of four and out close friends (family of five) rented this house for a week. The house was perfect for us - the five kids (aged 6 yrs old to 11 yrs old) shared the big bunk room, and the parents each had their own master bedroom. The house was great for eating meals together and relaxing after a day on the lake.

We really enjoyed our time in Lake Chelan. The house was a comfortable size for our party of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). It was stocked with everything we needed, although we did need to buy more laundry and dishwasher soap for our week-long stay. The deck was awesome! We ate many meals at the large table and sat by the gas firepit in the evenings. While the Lookout warns you that there is construction, it was closer and louder than I expected. Since I live on busy Seattle street it wasn't that impactful. The closest home was nearly complete so it should be over soon. The Lookout's private lakefront area was awesome! The pool was nice, although very busy on the holiday weekend we were visiting. Overall a great house, comfortable beds, everything you need. I would go back.

This house was perfect for our stay which included 3 families all with young children. We were super close to the pool which was convenient for nap times and always getting snacks. The best part was the deck! This house has a nice large deck with some of it in the sun and some in the shade and was large enough so everyone could enjoy it. I think we spent more time out there. The amenities were so nice and made this house feel like we were at home.

We had the best 3 days at Lakeside Chelanigans. So much to do for everyone from pool time to wine tasting. We were so happy we could fill in an open spot to try it out. We hope to come back next year for a week vacation...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but it was too short! We would stay there again. Spent our evenings on the deck around the fire pit with a glass of wine. Very relaxing.

Generally speaking, the property was great, and we loved the outdoor space. The house is in a great location relative to the pool, park, pickle ball, fire pit, etc.

We were disappointed to be notified just an hour before the crew arrived that a hot tub was being installed at the property during out stay. We left the house for some time in the morning, but returned for lunch on the deck, and had three people working in our space for sometime. As I suspect these types of installations are scheduled well in advance, we either should have been notified ahead of our arrival, or the installation should have been postponed until after our stay.

We plan to return to The Lookout in the future.
