Welcome to Whiskey Business at The Lookout!

Whiskey Business is a modern cottage located in the new Vineyard district. The open floor plan, comfortable furnishings and convenient location is directly in front of the new Vineyard district pool and hot tub that creates a perfect place to stay for family and friends. The pool is covered in the winter months which makes it perfect for enjoying a swim when the snow is on the ground. The house features two full bedrooms upstairs with vaulted ceilings and large windows and a pullout sleeper sofa downstairs with a full bath. Whiskey Business is kid and pet-friendly with concrete floors on the first floor and carpeting upstairs.

Downstairs is the open kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom as well as a laundry closet with a stacked front-load high capacity washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the amenities to make your vacation hassle free including a stove, microwave, door in door refrigerator, coffee maker, and Keurig. The open kitchen features a live edge dining room table that will comfortably seat 6. The living room includes a large 4K Smart TV with cable, Xbox gaming system and Bluetooth soundbar as well as a large window seat bench to curl up with your favorite book.

Whiskey Business comfortably sleeps 4 in the two bedrooms. With the additional queen sleeper sofa, you have the ability to sleep 6. The master bedroom features a queen bed, barn door, large closet with ample storage, cable HDTV, and an ensuite bathroom with a lighted vanity mirror. The second bedroom has a queen bed, cable HDTV, large ensuite bathroom with a lighted vanity mirror and closet.

Walk out the back door and you will find a relaxing space including a covered patio with an Infratech heater and two Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sounds of the pool splash pad. There are plenty of hooks to hang wet towels from the day at the lake or pool. The paver patio has a propane fire table with comfortable outdoor seating for 4 and a BBQ grill for outdoor grilling. Directly off the back patio you will find the pathway to the new Vineyard district pool with a splash pad/water feature (that kids will love) and a large built in hot tub. There is a bathroom and changing room pool house and plenty of pool chairs, umbrellas and loungers to relax in.

Take the short walk to the upper Lookout community pool and central park complete with playground, playfield, pickleball court, large outdoor stone fireplace, and community grill. Catch the Lookout shuttle to access the lake, whether it is the private beach or marina with dog dock for your canine companion to take a swim. This home is perfectly situated for a family getaway, couples vacation or a fun trip with friends.

Complimentary Wi-Fi provided that can handle a full family of devices.

A maximum of 2 dogs, 75 pounds or less, crate sleeper, and house-trained are permitted at Whiskey Business. One large collapsible dog crate for guest use is stored in the bedroom closet.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals at with any questions or concerns.

Decorated perfectly for a fun stay. Warm blankets, games, cute decor, all the amenities you may need! Whiskey Business is located right next to the heated pool and jacuzzi. We walked the property, played pickle ball and used this amazing location as the perfect jumping spot for wine tasting and dining. We will definitely be renting this townhouse again!

We could not be more pleased with Whiskey Businesses. From the moment we stepped in, I knew we picked a perfect spot for our two nights. It really was a home away from home. The pantry was stocked with appropriate amenities, the decor is amazing, the floorplan is ideal (three full bathrooms!!!). We enjoyed the blankets, the outdoor seating (and heater), the grill, the coffee maker, just everything! Oh, and it's right near the pool that is open all year round. Perfect! If we're ever in Lake Chelan again, you will always find us now at Whiskey Business. Thank you to the owners for a phenomenal home! We loved it!

Very well appointed and super stylish. Decor spot on! Appeared better in person than photos exhibit. Laps early morning we're convenient and wine tasting pool side was a hit. The only downside, and this review is every bit of 5 stars, was late night hot tubing. It was hard to sleep before 11pm on my side of the home. I would totally return but not at peak season.

Conveniently located next to the pool, Whiskey Business is a wonderful and peaceful home to relax, swim, and enjoy Chelan. Vin du Lac winery is a very short walk from the front door. The home is tastefully furnished and decorated and fits the theme of the name of the home. I would highly recommend a stay at Whisky Business. I will be returning without question!

My family of 5 (married, 3 sons) stayed at this outstanding home for our middle son's birthday. It was a dream! So much comfort in every single room, so much fab decor everywhere you looked. Being poolside was convenient and also private. The shuttle down to the private beach is close too! Everything you would want in a place to allow your brain some R&R is right here at Whiskey Business.

We spent a few days of Spring Break at Whiskey Business and this is an excellent property!

The communication throughout our experience was seamless too! From the way we received information to prepare for our trip, info about the community/condo/ community activities/check in/out, local recos... it was timely, complete, shareable, easy to reference during our trip!
The aesthetics of the condo - so well decorated, spotless, and they provided everything we needed - even dog treats! We had a plast walking through the neighborhood, tasting at Vin Du Lac down the street (the smashed potatoes are to die for, btw!)
All in all - I am grateful for the thought and attn to detail that made our entire experience great!

This was our first experience in Chelan, and boy was it worth it! As we pulled up to the house, we saw the welcoming “Whiskey Business” sign, and knew we were in for a treat.. Once we got inside, we noted that for a “cabin / cottage” it was amazingly modern looking with beautiful tiling behind the counters and gorgeous couch and chair setup on the far end of the first floor.

The decor lived up to the name of the home, as we could clearly see “Whiskey Business” spread throughout the home. From the bourbon barrel lids on the wall, to the coasters with signature bourbons printed on them to the giant buffalo (trace) photo up the stairs, we could tell a lot of time was put into decorating this in just the right way.

Everything was clean and neatly stocked and we were able to find everything we needed really easily. The beds in our room were incredibly comfortable, and, with a bathroom in each of the bedrooms, it allowed my wife and I to get ready at the same time!

The adirondacks and whiskey barrel table on the back porch were a blessing each morning as we could sit out there and drink our coffee in the warm chelan breeze! We also made great use of the smokeless fire pit on the patio, where we sipped our old fashioned’s as the sun went down.

We encountered only one issue - where initially, our door code would not work, but the staff at the office came over immediately to try to resolve the issue and give us a way in. When they saw we may have locked ourselves out permanently for the weekend through the code, they made sure we had a manual key to get in which we were 100% happy with!

The worst part of the entire weekend, was when we had to leave it to go back to our house - we had such a happy relaxing perfect weekend in such a beautifully decorated home and we can’t WAIT to go back again soon!

Pros - very comfortable home, close to pool (could be a con). Beautiful decor and great TV, Beds were comfortable, very pretty views.
Cons - this house is surrounded by construction, dump trucks roar by all day. This house has NO bbq.

Great spot to stay - right next to the pool. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. We had four adults and one dog in our group and the amount of space and set up was perfect. Kitchen is well appointed and we really enjoyed the grill and fire pit outside. There’s not a lake view from this home but it’s easy to get down to the water using the shuttle.

Whiskey Business is a gorgeous home. It is really the perfect combination of masculine modern design with comfortable furnishings. The custom made live edge dining, coffee, and end tables are like artwork and the owners invested heavily in high end appliances, electronics, furnishings and overall décor. This home feels larger than it is since it was so thoughtfully designed with two large bedrooms and three gracious bathrooms, all with showers. With all these amazing amenities, the home is still quite family and dog friendly. Whiskey Business is located steps away from the lower Lookout pool with easy access to the mountain bike trail and a 3 minute walk to Vin Du Lac winery/bistro. Our kids lived in the pool during our stay. We would recommend Whiskey Business to any of our friends. We would have given it more than 5 stars if we could. Cheers!

Whiskey Business has everything you need in a rental. We were a party of 5 plus a small dog, and we fit perfectly. My only concern was construction. It was something we knew would be happening as of "7:30am" but it started daily at 7:04am. On top of that, many construction employees played loud music. Once I notified the office though, that stopped immediately. Lookout properties is well kept and the staff is incredible!!! The lake access is perfect too!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect long weekend! The house is very clean (I use to clean vacation rentals so I’m kind of picky about that stuff)
The pool right outside our patio was so nice! I would definitely stay here again.

There is still a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood but we never had any issues with workers or noise.

We loved how clean and well equipped the house was. The decor is modern/industrial with a bit of rustic flair, including the whiskey references throughout. The pools were clean and comfortable (including the restrooms!) and a great treat after a long, hot day. Of note, the upper pool has a snack bar. Location was close to everything by quick car ride. The private beach is something we almost missed. My only wish is that the communication was a little better from management (what’s included, how do you get in, when and how will you receive to info on entry, and the fact that there’s a beach and how to use it, all would have been great ahead of time). Otherwise, it’s dreamy!!! We will return when the price is right.

Such a cute development. We loved the proximity to heated pool and hot tub as well as dog friendly nature of the lookout. Great escape for the whole family! Whiskey Business was thoughtfully designed and furnished and well stocked with all kitchen items needed. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

The Cottage is really a home in a managed neighborhood that is exceptionally well designed, maintained, and located a short drive north of Lake Chelan's downtown. The Cottage is stocked very well with needs, parking was right at the front door, and the heated lap pool and large hot tub were steps from the back door. The property is great for kids or just adults hoping to get away from the hustle of life. Lake Chelan has grown into a power player in the wine destination world, and the Cottage makes a great basecamp and hits all of the requirements.

This place has everything you need for an easy and relaxing weekend. Located right next to the pool (open all winter) and hot tub, overhead heaters on the back porch so you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine outside in the colder months. Beautifully decorated modern yet very cozy. All kitchen, bedding, toiletry needs were above and beyond. You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into making this place look and feel special. Just pack your clothes and get there as soon as you can!

We had an incredible stay at Whiskey Business in Lake Chelan. From the beautiful design, the thoughtful details, the spotless home and all the amenities of the Lookout... we left refreshed and in love with this sweet cottage. We had a great time sitting around the beautiful dining room table, laughing. We didn't want to leave!

Cheers to the proprietors of Whiskey Business! They have distilled the finest ingredients of hospitality and comfort in this cozy cottage. Tastefully decorated and ideally located as the closest unit to the Lookout’s hot tub and heated pool. We loved our winter weekend getaway here and look forward to returning soon!

The home is absolutely beautiful and we loved the high-end finishes. It was nice to be so close to the pool too. Considering we were in the midst of a pandemic, the management company was on top of things and we felt very safe.

We went for Mother's Day weekend and had a great time. The place is perfect. Pretty much brand new, with the most comfortable beds and nicely decorated. We enjoy the pool and the views from the large windows and got to relax while sipping a glass of wine, compliment of Whisky Business. Location was super convenient as well. We will definitively come back. Thank you!
