Welcome to YOLO - You Only Live Once.

Live your best life in a poolside stay in the Vineyard District at the Lookout at Lake Chelan.

YOLO is a custom designed modern cottage just steps away from a large 20-person hot tub, Olympic size pool and kids splash-pad. While there are two outdoor pools at the Lookout, this one is heated and covered in the winter allowing for year-round enjoyment just outside your door.

Relax on the patio which features an array of cozy seating options: cushioned loveseat and chairs with overhead heater, four garden chairs surrounding a fire pit and a picnic table for outdoor dining by the barbecue grill.

Enter through a wall-to-wall glass door into the living room where you can continue to relax by the fire while watching tv on the 50” 4k Ultra HD TV with Cable, Netflix and Blu-Ray Player. If you’d prefer to remain unplugged, enjoy a glass of wine while reading a book in the sunny window seat overlooking Lake Chelan.

Continuing through the main floor you will find an open kitchen, dining and ample pantry full of all the amenities needed for your stay. Rounding out this floor is a full bathroom and laundry closet with stacked front-load high-capacity washer and dryer.

Heading upstairs, you will be greeted by fine art by Tashia - “Splash Zone” as you too dry off from the pool. There are two guest bedrooms upstairs each with a full en-suite bathroom and featuring vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows.

The Sunset Master Suite overlooks the hot tub and pool with mountain views to the West. Relax in a queen size Tuft + Needle bed while watching tv or unfold a workspace table that overlooks the pool.

The Sunrise Guest Suite faces the vineyards and downtown Lake Chelan. Adults, teens and kids will all want this room as it features (2) tv’s each with a newly released Xbox One Series S. Guests staying in this room will enjoy the quad full size bunk bed with (4) Tuft + Needle mattresses and lots of cozy blankets and pillows.

Complimentary Wi-Fi provided to handle a full family of devices.

Should you decide to venture away from the home, you’ll be delighted to find endless activities within the Lookout Community and the surrounding Lake Chelan area.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed, though the owners do occasionally host their dog onsite.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals at with any questions or concerns.

YOLO is a fantastic place to stay! As a single mom with 3 children, it is the perfect location by the heated pool and hot tub. The house had everything we needed and having the full size bunk beds was perfect so we each had our own bed. It was also nice to have pool toys, games and my oldest enjoyed the xbox. On other trips, we’ve ventured to wineries (lots have kid activities and our faves are Amos Rome, Hard Row to Hoe, Vin du Lac and Lake Chelan Winery), we found that we didn’t have to go find other entertainment this trip because the house and the pool was enough and so fun! The house is immaculate and guest services was available whenever we needed (issue with the pool gate closest to us but the key card worked at the others), and we’ve already told several friends about YOLO. We enjoyed shopping in the cute downtown area. We left wanting more days!

Overall our experience was good. Property was clean and well appointed.
The location is near the pool, which is very convenient.
The house is very sunny, and the shades that are on the patio do not function, therefore not much shade. Also, the shades in bedrooms did not function. Just wanted to mention these items since it did make a difference for us. Until these items are fixed I would stay in another property.
The outlook is beautiful, enjoyed the pools and lake.

This is a great, small house for a family looking to be right by the pool. It felt private, cozy and the perfect spot at the Lookout. It was close to the shuttle to the beach and just a few minutes from the town of Chelan. If you have young kids the windows/lack of treatment at the top of the windows will be an issue so just be prepared for those early mornings. And bring your own pillow ;) The house is awesome though and stocked with everything you need to cook or host. Will definitely be staying here again!

My husband and I had a great 5 nights at The Outlook! Yolo was nicely decorated and appointed. The grounds were beautifully manicured. We enjoyed Mahogany and Merlot
for all 3 days. Perhaps more lights around the steps would be helpful..plus YOLO could use a sheet pan and a pyrex casserole dish! George the maintenance boy saved our move in by helping us carry some heavy personal items up the stairs into our unit!! We love The Outlook and Seabrook!! Thank you!

We usually stay in another cabin along the pool but decided to give Yolo a try. As always the house was clean upon arrival with everything we needed. The bunk beds were a hit with our kids and the close proximity to the hot tub was a plus on cold nights!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at YOLO. Perfect location, fun interior design, very comfortable sleeping arrangements, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable outdoor seating. The only thing that would be nice is if they added some window blinds on the lower level and some taller blinds in the upstairs bedrooms.

Home was super clean which meant a lot to us. It was a great modern home and had everything we needed for our family of 5 (3 small children) the jacuzzi and the pool were conveniently located only steps away from home. We enjoyed making s’mores and star gazing at night and used the BBQ - it was beautiful! One thing but it was not a big problem was the neighbors which owned the home right next to the Yolo were definitely keeping an eye on us since we were the transients which was fine but would have preferred if they minded their business. I felt watched. Would recommend the Yolo to have curtains on the first level.

Our family of four had a wonderful time. The location was convenient, super close to the pool and hot tub. The Xbox was a highlight for our 9 year old. Beds were comfortable and home well stocked with appliances, towels, dishes, etc. The only downside was that we visited in Nov and the floor on the first floor was absolutely freezing. I wish I had brought slippers.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lookout’s YOLO cottage! The house was clean and well stocked. The bunk room with two tv’s and Xbox was so much fun for our kids! A heated pool in the winter was such an enjoyable treat. We will definitely come back!

Our family loved staying at YOLO. Everything from the floorplan, design and overall esthetic was just our vibe. Being so close to the pool made quick trips back and forth with kids easy. The bunk room was great and the kids used both TVs and Xbox. We were comfortable the whole stay and when our firepit ran out of propane the on-site management came by within an hour. Great experience and would highly recommend!

We found yolo to be a very nice rental. It was very close to the pool and hot tub which we found really easy with two small kids (5 & 2), no need to lug a ton of things when we could just walk to the house. Even though it was close to the pool, it never got too loud which was nice. I will warn you, if your kids are use to dark/blackout shades to sleep with, this is not the best. The curtains only cover the windows partially and they are east and west facing on this house. It was a little bit of a challenge for our littles to sleep. I can also get warm upstairs due to those west/east facing windows from the sunshine pouring in. I found the house to be relatively well stocked. We were there for 4 nights and made due but it would have been nice to have a few more serving dishware pieces since we cooked all our meals.
